Great Boulder Resources (GBR) was up as much as 62.7 per cent this morning after revealing it had intersected 136g/t gold from the Mulga Bill Prospect.

Mulga Bill is part of the Side Well Gold Project which lies near Meekatharra in Western Australia in an area that has produced nearly four million ounces of gold.

A 4000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling was recently carried out. While all results are yet to be received, a bonanza intercept of six metres at 31.2g/t gold from 130 metres, including one metre at 136g/t gold from 132 metres has already been recorded.

Another significant result included 14 metres at 2.62g/t gold from 88 metres, including four meres at 5.86g/t gold from 88 metres.

Great Boulder expects to receive the remaining results in the coming weeks.

High-grade gold was also confirmed in the re-assay of a previous aircore hole with a result of three metres at 34.5g/t gold identified.

“These are stunning results. We were initially excited with the result in hole 022 because it’s associated with quartz veining high in the weathering profile,” Managing Director Andrew Paterson commented today.

“Coming off the back of our recent success at Whiteheads, these exceptional results from Mulga Bill validate our approach and the solid technical work we’ve been doing for the past two years,” he added.

Shares in Great Boulder are still up 59.6 per cent, trading at 13.3 cents at 10:36 am AEST.
