GWR Group Limited has announced positive updates on its Wiluna West [iron and gold] and Hatches Creek [copper and gold] projects.

This year, activities at the Wiluna West Gold project have focused on updating Mineral Resource estimates and securing Mining Approvals for the Golden Monarch mine.

In January 2019, the Company announced results achieved from a 72 hole (3,918 m) RC drilling program completed at the Golden Monarch, Eagle and Emu prospects.

Results from this work are expected to be released next month. Approval for further mining at the Golden Monarch prospect is expected to be submitted to the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety office next month.

In relation to the Wiluna West Iron project all mining approvals are in place for the high-grade JWD deposit, which is adjacent to the Golden Monarch deposit. Approvals will allow for the commencement of future large scale mining operations.

13 RC drill holes for 1,524 m have been completed at the Hit or Miss prospect as part of the Hatches Creek Tungsten Copper Gold Project. Currently, GWR holds a 13.2% per cent equity interest in Tungsten Mining NL and have been providing it with management and technical services since 2014. Both companies are committed to implementing a transaction in the near future.
