Harris Technology (HT8) has appointed Alan Sparks to its board as a Director.

Alan has over 40 years' experience in the distribution, retail and technology industries and has a proven track record of growing businesses and improving efficiency.

He boasts over 20 years of leadership experience at APAC and ANZ (ANZ) and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Graduate of the Australia Institute of Company Directors.

Previously, Alan was the CEO at Cellnet Group (CLT) and recently retired from the company after six years in the role.

Harris Technologies is one of Australia's leading online resellers of technology products and solutions.

Alan will commence his role next Tuesday, December 1.

Earlier this month, Harris laid out its short, medium and long term growth plans. In short term, the company aims to become the leading provider of tech solutions on platforms such as Amazon, eBay, kogan and Catch.

Loking byond that, the company wants to become the number one seller on all major eCommerce platforms and, once achieved, aims to cultivate the international expansion of its website.

On the market today, Harris is up 6.90 per cent and trading at 15.5 cents per share at 1:17 pm AEDT.
