- Harris Technology Group (HT8) has revealed it outperformed its daily sales records on both days it engaged in the Amazon Australian Prime Event
- The online IT and consumer electronic goods vendor attended the event last week and pulled in more than $325,000 in sales over the two days
- This is compared to average daily sales of $56,000 in September
- Harris Technology is continuing to establish a homeware and kitchenware category, with an initial focus on the Amazon marketplace, and has added further gaming brands to its portfolio
- The company is positioning itself to drive sales on Black Friday and during the Christmas shopping season
- Shares have been trading 7. 4 per cent higher at 14.5 cents
Harris Technology Group (HT8) has revealed it outperformed its daily sales records on both days it participated in the Amazon Australian Prime Event.
The online IT and consumer electronic goods vendor attended the event on October 13 and 14, 2020 and recorded $118,673 and $206,879 in sales respectively.
This is compared to average daily sales of $56,000 in the month of September.
On October 15, CEO Garrison Huang also participated as a panellist on the Amazon virtual summit.
In September, the company told shareholders it was working to expand its presence to additional online marketplaces and had started selling products on Groupon and Mydeal.
Harris Technology also said it would establish a homeware and kitchenware category, with an initial focus on the Amazon marketplace where the company is already the premier tech seller.
The company has added more gaming brands to its portfolio in recent months and indicated today that it is positioning itself online ahead of Black Friday and the Christmas shopping season.
Shares have been trading 7. 4 per cent higher at 14.5 cents at 1:35 pm AEDT.
