Hartshead Resources (HHR) has issued an invitation to tender (ITT) for a geotechnical survey program over the Anning and Somerville fields in the United Kingdom.

The objective of the survey is to provide Hartshead with an interpretation of the seabed geomechanical and engineering conditions at the Anning and Somerville fields.

At each of the locations, 30 and 50-metre boreholes will be drilled with onshore and offshore samples to be taken during this work.

In-situ seabed testing via piezo-cone penetration testing will be undertaken for the purpose of geomechanical and geoenvironmental seabed characterisation.

Tenders are expected to be received by mid-June with the preferred contractor expected to be chosen and revealed before July.

Offshore operations are expected to be undertaken between July and September with updates to be made as the surveys are completed.

Shares in Hartshead Resources were steady on the market and were trading at 2.1 cents at 12:21 pm AEST.
