  • iCandy Interactive (ICI) has pulled in $668,000 in revenue just 30 days after launching its latest game, Masketeers: Idle of Fallen
  • This makes the new game nearly 10 times more successful than CrabWar, the company’s previous top earner, which generated around $65,000 in its first 30 days 
  • Masketeers was launched in over 70 countries in English alone and the company now intends to translate it for other markets, with a focus on China first and foremost
  • iCandy shares have been trading 18.8 per cent higher for 19 cents

iCandy Interactive (ICI) has pulled in $668,000 in sales revenue within 30 days of launching its latest game, Masketeers: Idle of Fallen.

In comparison, the company’s previously top earner CrabWar, generated approximately $65,000 in its first 30 days.

Masketeers was launched in over 70 countries in English, and the company now intends to translate it for other markets.

As a result, China has been identified as its first priority. Video games are expected to generate around $38 million in 2020, making it one of the most lucrative markets for video games.

The videogame developer and publisher expects revenue from Musketeers will contribute significantly to its balance sheet in the current 2020 and 2021 financial years.

iCandy reports its financial year in line with the calendar year, from January 1 to December 31.

During the last financial year, the company tabled total revenue of over $2.2 million.

Shares have been trading 18.8 per cent higher at 19 cents at 3:00 pm AEDT.
