Investigator Resources (IVR) has intersected up to 12,447g/t silver at its Paris Silver Project in South Australia.

The Paris Project is the highest-grade undeveloped primary silver project in Australia and has a JORC 2012 resource of 9.3 million tonnes at 139g/t silver and 0.6 per cent lead for 42 million ounces of contained silver and 55,000 tonnes of contained lead.

A 20,500-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program began in September with aims to improve the continuity of the mineralisation and increase the current resource.

Work wrapped up in November after 223 holes were drilled for 20,483 metres.

Best results include two metres at 6247g/t silver from 29 metre,s including one metre at 12,447g/t silver from 29 metres, and 14 metres at 715g/t silver from 63 metres.

More broadly, results returned to date have shown that there is a strong and broad zone of high-grade silver mineralisation.

“These results continue to support the infill program objectives of building confidence in the grade and continuity of the silver mineralisation at Paris,” Managing Director Andrew McIlwain commented.

“With a further 8000 samples at the laboratory and the remaining 9000 undergoing preparation at site prior to transporting to Adelaide, there will continue to be news flow for the next three months as analysis of these samples is finalised and a revised mineral resource estimate is completed,” he added.

Investigator is up 3.85 per cent on the market and shares are trading at 5.4 cents at 1:22 pm AEDT.
