Jatcorp (JAT) has entered a deal with Australian natural food manufacturer Sanmik Natural Foods to develop ice cream and yogurt products.

The companies will develop these products using JAT’s immune support formulas, representing a significant new extension of Jatcorp’s business.

This collaboration is one of a few agreements that Jatcorp expects to enter in the short term as the consumer stock moves to capitalise on the interest it’s receiving from manufacturers and distributors who wish to access its immune support products.

The immune products are the subject of a few research projects completed and currently undertaken by RMIT and the University of Sydney.

Jatcorp said the agreement with Sanmik is limited to JAT’s Jinvigorate and Moroka products for the Australian market.

Sanmik will be responsible for developing immune support ice cream suitable for the Australian market and will be the sole manufacturer in Australia.

There isn’t a fixed term to the agreement and either company can terminate with one month’s notice.

All intellectual property (IP) created in the development of the products will be owned by JAT.

JAT shares were up 5.26 per cent, trading at two cents as of 1:18 pm AEDT.
