Jindalee Resources (JRL) has hit further strong intercepts at the McDermitt lithium project in Oregon, US.
The company’s current drilling program has been working towards infilling and extending the mineral resource estimate of the project, as well as determining the extent of lithium mineralisation across the project.
Jindalee’s latest assays from the program included 34.5 metres at 1609 parts per million (ppm) lithium from 15.4 metres, along with 5.2 metres at 2537 ppm lithium from 42.8 metres.
Further results included 29.2 metres at 1503 ppm lithium from 55.6 metres, including 7.1 metres at 2334 ppm lithium from 77.7 metres.
The company has now wrapped up 10 diamond and 11 reverse circulation holes at McDermitt, with drilling paused to allow drill sites from the 21 holes completed to date to be rehabilitated.
Meanwhile, assay results from a further 17 holes are still pending.
Jindalee Resources was up 8.04 per cent, trading at $2.42 at 12:54 pm AEDT.
