Kalamazoo Resources (KZR) has commenced a geochemical soil program at its DOM’s Hill Project in the East Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The soil sampling program is primarily focused on the discovery of pegmatite-hosted Lithium-Caesium- Tantalum (LCT) mineralisation.

It will include around 4600 samples and is expected to be completed in December 2021, just before the Pilbara’s hot and wet summer weather setting in.

All soil samples will be the subject of initial pXRF Lithium Index analysis before select subsets are submitted for laboratory assay analysis.

“This methodology will ensure that the exploration programs can be accelerated and completed cost efficiently,” the company said.

Following the soil sampling program, the field crew will be deployed to Kalamazoo’s Marble Bar Project to complete a similar project, that being a wide soil sampling program.

The early commencement of the soil sampling programs will enable high priority targets to be identified and drill tested as soon as the 2022 field season begins.

Kalamazoo Resources closed up 4.35 per cent at 36 cents per share.
