King River Resources (KRR) has reported high-grade drill results from recent drilling at its Tennant Creek gold project in the Northern Territory.

A total of 34 reverse circulation drill holes were completed over a two-kilometre trend, identified from rock-chip grab samples.

The drilling intersected a one to five-metre quartz vein within a broader shear structure with results suggesting the vein is open to the north, south and at depth.

One of the best results came from TTRC019 with seven metres at 6.35 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 25 metres including two metres at 21.3 g/t gold with one metre at 35.26 g/t gold.

The company is awaiting assays for the remaining 20 holes from the program.

In the meantime, it is currently planning drilling in the area to extend mineralisation.

Shares were trading 10.5 per cent higher today at 2.1 cents each at 1:37 pm AEST.
