Kula Gold (KGD) has completed drilling at the Crayfish Prospect within its Marvel Loch – Airfield Project in Western Australia.
Three diamond holes, for 363.1 metres, were drilled consisting of 112.1 metres of mud rotary pre-collars and 251 metres of NQ2 core.
Drilling was undertaken to follow up and obtain structural knowledge on previously discovered unmapped amphibolite.
Kula also aimed to test the potential extensions and orientations of the low-level gold anomalism identified in holes 21CYRC004 and 21CYRC005.
Given their proximity to holes four and five, holes 21CYRD003 and 21CYDD001 intercepted similar lithologies, encountering pegmatitic granite and amphibolite gneiss.
Further, results from hole 21CYDD002 are undergoing geological interpretation and will be reported on as they are received.
All three of the holes intersected greenstone and quartz veining, with the core now in transit to the laboratory for analysis.
Kula has ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 4.2 cents in a $9.03 million market cap.
