Kula Gold (KGD) will soon commence a 380-hole auger drilling program at the Marvel Loch Airfield Gold Project in Western Australia.
The Marvel Loch-Airfield Gold Project covers 120-square kilometres over the south-central part of the Ghooli Dome and is situated just five kilometres east of the gold mining town of Marvel Loch.
The auger drilling program is aimed at testing gold-in-soil anomalies that were previously generated by Sons of Gwalia (SOG) and targets from reprocessed and re-interpreted magnetics.
The upcoming drilling program will mark the first time the project has been explored since the 1980s.
The highest-grade SOG sample of 311 parts per billion gold is situated on the northwest-trending structure which extends through the licence from the mineralised amphibolite’s to the southeast of the licence.
Auger sampling will focus on the northwest extensions as well as on a large, circular magnetic anomaly in the centre of the licence.
Kula has engaged a local contractor and it is ready to begin once Kula’s program of works has been approved.
Company shares have dropped 2.70 per cent and last traded for 3.6 cents in early morning trade.
