Linius Technologies has signed a commercial agreement with Racing.com.

This agreement will see Linius provide Racing.com users with a range of personalised video content experiences. Linius will also work with key elements of the media and publishing functions.

“Betting on horse racing in Australia alone, generates $18 billion in annual revenues, and globally it’s over $116 billion each year,” Linius CEO Chris Richardson said.

“We seek to scale our business by replicating our solutions across other betting agencies, betting sites and across all other sports globally,” Chris continued.

Linius has invented and patented the Video Virtualisation Engine which transforms unmanageable video data into something flexible as all other data forms.

It is currently available on Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and IBM Cloud.

These companies are investing billions in virtualising video technologies and artificial intelligence and, given that video accounts for nearly 80 per cent of internet traffic, it is the biggest battle on the internet.

Another product of Linius is the Video Hyper-Personalisation and Search Solution that enables anyone to instantly search data within the video and automatically assemble the results in a single stream.

Its aim is to revolutionise the way individual and organisations across the globe produce, deliver and consume video.

Linius is now focusing on delivering its Video Hyper-Personalisation and Search Solution to six big industries: news and media, education, security and defence, sports broadcasters, sports betting and corporate communications.

This initial agreement with Racing.com is for 12 months and the opportunity exists for extension.

“We have been working with the Linius technology for a number of months, and the service is in live development and testing,” Racing.com CEO Andrew Catterall said.

“We have a plan to deliver many more market leading experiences to Racing.com users over coming months and look forward to announcing them as they launch,” Andrew concluded.
