Lithium Power International (LPI) has made advancements at multiple Western Australia-based lithium projects and prospects.

LPI has completed a high-definition drone magnetic survey at its southwest Blackwood prospect over a structural anomaly on the Donnybrook-Bridgetown shear zone, along strike from the renowned Greenbushes lithium pegmatite deposit.

It has also commenced soil sampling and concluded the first phase of flora assessment, while the second phase will be completed in March.

Once results from this series of tests have been received, an infill drilling program will begin.

Drilling at the East Kirkup Prospect in the Greenbushes was previously delayed from mid-December when the contractor reached capacity.

Drill pads have been prepared for mid-January to test the arsenic, lithium, beryllium, tantalum, and tin anomaly that was identified in previous tests.

At its northern WA Pilgangoora tenements, 544 soil samples have been completed. Results are due in roughly six weeks.

“Activities on all projects and prospects are advancing well, and we aim to make drilling results known once they come to hand,” Chief Executive Officer, Cristobal Garcia-Huidobro said.

Lithium Power shares have opened the day down 3 per cent and were trading at 48.5 cents a share at 11:17 am AEDT.
