Food, skincare and nutraceutical company Live Verdure (LV1) has launched its 13 Seeds hemp seed oil capsules on Amazon’s US Marketplace.

Amazon is the world’s largest online retailer, reporting a net revenue of US$386 billion (around A$496 billion) last financial year.

This is up from the US$280 billion (around A$359 billion) recorded in 2019.

The 13 Seeds product range is made entirely of Tasmanian hemp and includes oils, muesli, capsules, protein powder and honey.

This follows on from the launch on Amazon Australia in early April 2021.

By launching on Amazon US, Live Verdure is now able to sell and distribute its products to millions of customers at a low cost.

Live Verdure will keep control over the price of each item and how the products are marketed under Amazon’s quality assurance framework.

The U.S. was chosen as LV1’s first international market as the country is the world’s largest consumer of nutraceuticals and it has one of the world’s highest percentages of eCommerce users per capita.

The company believes that by being available on both the Amazon Australia and U.S. stores its brand awareness and recognition will increase.

Updates will continue to be made as more 13 Seeds products are developed and released for sale.

“LV1 is thrilled to now have our products approved for sale in two Amazon Marketplace regions. This paves the way for Live Verdure to quickly and easily bring our customers more products in the future,” Managing Director Ran Vaingold said.

“We are confident Amazon’s exceptional customer service and delivery times will enhance LV1’s product reach, bringing us closer to our goal of having 13 Seeds products in all healthy and wellness conscious households worldwide,” he added.

Despite this news, Live Verdure has ended the day 8.51 per cent in the red with shares trading at 21.5 cents in a $12.98 million market cap.
