Live Verdure (LV1) has launched its all-natural hemp seed skincare brand, 8 Seeds.

To help with the launch, LV1 is has signed a five-year agreement with THG Ingenuity, the technology services division of global technology
platform THG.

Notably, LV1 will also help market the company’s other brand, 13 Seeds.

The oil produced by hemp seeds contains lipids are similar to the lipids found in human skin. These lipids are important to the moisturising and hydration of the skin.

Importantly, hemp seeds and hemp seed oil also contain anti-inflammatory properties, which allows for a wide variety of skincare uses.

The new 8 Seeds brand expands on LV1’s knowledge of hemp skincare and beauty products.

Under the agreement, the companies are initially targeting three priority markets across North America and Europe, with an option to expand into further markets next financial year.

LV1’s Managing Director Ran Vaingold says the partnership comes at a time when the natural beauty and nutrition category is thriving.

“We are delighted to announce our partnership with THG Ingenuity,” he said.

“Combining our already deep understanding of consumers’ purchasing behaviour, with THG Ingenuity’s digital brand services, crossborder expertise and sophisticated technology means we can rapidly deploy into multiple markets in what is a fast-evolving Direct to Consumer retail environment,” he added.

On the market this afternoon, LV1 is up 6.38 per cent and is trading at 25 cents per share at 2:42 pm AEDT.
