WHERE TO FIND
If you want every drive to be soul-stirring, 4C Spider Convertible will leave you wanting more thrill with its punchy acceleration, amazing handling and exhaust.
The new Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Convertible stays true to its incredible design and comfortable leather interior made by the Italian manufacture. Starting with the outfitted interior – it is clean and sophisticated, most importantly, comfortable – but does lacks space for cargo. And that’s understandable if we take into account that the 4C is not a sports car, but also no less.
The buying experience is pretty straightforward because there is no variety of engines for this model.
Extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum make the 4C a bantamweight by today’s standards, and the tiny 1.7-liter engine belts out an impressive 237 hp. That makes for a zero-to-60-mph time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 160 mph, Alfa says.
But it’s more important to understand what features the 4C doesn’t have: power steering, a cushy (or quiet) interior, up-to-date connectivity for your devices and luggage space for two. Likewise, the Spider’s effort-intensive removable soft-top has the effect of a Targa-style removable roof rather than a full, open-air convertible.
Furthermore, the high-level sports car offers an amazing fuel economy rate! The EPA estimates that the 4C Spider will give 34 mpg on the highway, and 24 mpg in the city, which makes it 28 mpg on average.
When we’re talking about sports cars it’s good to mention the safety and the driver assistance features that the 4C brings to the table. Road costs for the latest 4C Spider Convertible model are set to start from A$116,937 plus options.
