First of all, do you know why the vast majority of Audi fans were disappointed by the 2018 RS5? Most of them thought it was outdated. Don’t get me wrong - the car is excellent. It has its uniqueness and many spectacular features… but one thing made people dislike the 2018 RS5 a bit.

And that was its front grille. You see, the 2018 model featured the same front grille as the previous RS5 series. And this didn’t appeal to the audience. However…

The brand new 2020 RS5 model has corrected the mistake of its older brother. This one comes with a broader and more well-designed front grille. Besides, the 2020 Audi RS5 is designed with three air vents, situated above the grille, inspired by the 1984 Audi UR Quattro.

All this gives the car a sporty and aggressive look. You’ll undoubtedly stand out from the crowd in jam traffic with the brand new RS5.

Let’s take a look at its aggressive power.

The raving 444 horsepowers will jack you up for precisely 3.9 seconds. That’s the time the new RS5 model needs to hit the 60 mph mark. The top speed is at 174 mph, and, to be honest, it feels quite smooth. The car boasts a 2.9-litre V6 engine with an automatic eight-speed transmission.

There aren’t any significant changes regarding the exterior, besides the front grille, the back end of the car has also been slightly adjusted. It features a reshaped diffuser that comes in a range of colours.

Moreover, the 2020 RS5 hits the road with beautiful 19” rims. However, the Turbo Blue and Targo Red colours are granted with even more significant 20” rims to truly make the RS5 stand as a beast on the road.

What’s more, 2 versions of the car are available - the Coupe and the Sportback edition.

The RS5 Coupe is designed with a carbon-fibre roof, which is reported to be lightening the car with 4 kilos. It’s a feature appreciated by car racers. The Couple comes with only two doors. Whereas the Sportback version features four doors but is missing a carbon-fibre roof.

When it comes to the interior, the major change you can notice here is the adjustment in the infotainment system. With this new RS5, you’ll see the typical rotary infotainment controller replaced by a free-standing 10.1 inches touchscreen that is slightly angled towards the driver to make driving easier.

The brand spanking new Audi RS5 will soon be officially launched in Germany at a starting price of €83,500 or A$135,000. It’s undoubtedly worth checking it out.
