Firefly Games has successfully completed its global launch of Terminator: Dark Fate.

The game is a free to play, real-time strategy war game that is based upon the 2019 film of the same name and is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.

As announced on October 1, 2019, Terminator: Dark Fate is the culmination of a two-year collaboration between Firefly Games and Skydance Media.

The game is targeting global mobile gaming audiences and fans of the Terminator series for worldwide release.

It’s a massively multiplayer online strategy game with a focus on player-versus-player combat and player alliances.

Co-developers, Camel Games, are the creators of War and Order which has over 10 million downloads and is estimated to be generating revenue of over US$35 million (AUD$51 million) per year.

As announced on 30 September 2019, MSM Corporation has secured first ranking, interest-free loan notes and an equity interest in The Riva Group’s associated company Riva Technology and Entertainment (RTE).

RTE is currently in the process of acquiring a majority equity interest in J&D Holdings which is the sole legal and beneficial owner of Firefly Games.

Under the loan notes, MSM has priority rights to be paid all profits or distributions received by RTE from J&D in repayment on the notes.

“We’re very excited about the release of this game. The early feedback from the players has been extremely positive with several thousand downloads already,” Riva Group Chairman Paul Roy commented.

“The team at Firefly Games have done a fantastic job with their partners at Camel Games and Skydance Media,” he added.

MSM has ended the day up 7.69 per cent with shares trading for 1.4 cents apiece in a market cap valued at $11.68 million.
