New Age Exploration (NAE) has begun work at the Lammerlaw gold project for the 2021/2022 summer season.

The Lammerlaw project covers an area of 265 square kilometres and covers the prospective Lammerlaw area in Otago, New Zealand.

During October, eight ridge and spur soil lines will be completed along electromagnetic (EM) lineaments identified in April 2020.

Four lines are located on the northern EM lineaments that were previously sampled and returned anomalous gold-arsenic trends.

The remaining four lines are located on the southern EM lineaments which show a similar geophysical response to the northern ones. New Age is yet to test these southern EM lineaments.

New Age will also complete trenching along the Otago Pioneer Quartz mineralised trend after obtaining an access arrangement.

Trenching can begin from mid-November once lambing is completed by the owner and further updates will be made once it begins.

Executive Director Joshua Wellisch was eager to begin field work.

“We are excited to commence field work for the 2021/2022 New Zealand summer field season on our Lammerlaw gold project in the Otago Goldfield,” Mr Wellisch said.

“We remain on track to continue our progress and meet our strategic aim of having a year round pipeline of exploration opportunities.”

New Age has ended the day in the grey with shares trading at 1.1 cents in a $15.79 million market cap.
