New World Resources (NWC) is continuing with its successful drilling program at the Antler Copper Project in Arizona.

Further significant results have come from two recently completed drill holes, ANT69 and ANT67, with results confirming the continuity of mineralisation.

Hole ANT69 was drilled to help explore the down-dip extensions of the South Shoot and it intersected two intervals of high-grade mineralisation over a length of 10.4 metres.

Results include 7.3 metres at 2.3 per cent copper, 7.2 per cent zinc, 1.01 per cent lead, 0.17 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) and 28g/t silver from 473 metres, and 3.1 metres at 3.8 per cent copper, 11.6 per cent zinc, 0.1 per cent lead, 0.15g/t gold and 20.3g/t silver from 487.4 metres.

These results confirm that high-grade mineralisation continues at depth and the strike extent of the South Shoot increases with depth.

Mineralisation at the South Shoot runs to a down-dip extent of more than 350 metres and remains completely open at depth.

High-grade mineralisation was also intersected in hole ANT67 which focused on the area between the Main and South shoots.

Best results include 5.9 metres at 3.9 per cent copper, 8.3 per cent zinc, 0.3 per cent lead, 0.25g/t gold and 25.6g/t silver.

New World will use the results from both holes in its upcoming maiden JORC mineral resource estimate which is expected to be completed later this month.

Managing Director Mike Haynes is pleased by these results.

“We are pleased to see a continued flow of outstanding high-grade assay results from the Antler Project,” Mr Haynes commented.

“The results from these two holes will be the final assay we include in our imminent maiden JORC mineral resource estimate, which is scheduled to be completed later this month.”

Results are pending for a further nine completed holes and two rigs are continuing to drill at Antler with a third scheduled to arrive on site within the next week.

New World was up 8.45 per cent on the market with shares trading at 7.7 cents at 12:46 pm AEDT.
