Nova Minerals (NVA) has intersected more broad, high-grade zones of mineralisation at the RPM North prospect which is part of the Estelle gold project in Alaska.

The latest results from RPM-006 include 175 metres at 1.3 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from surface, 61 metres at 2.9g/t gold from 56 metres, six metres at 10.3g/t gold from 56 metres and three metres at 17.2g/t gold from 108 metres.

This hole returned an overall average grade of 1g/t gold over 220 metres from surface within the RPM North mineralised zone.

Best results from RPM-004 include 259 metres at 0.5g/t gold from surface, 43 metres at 1g/t gold from 287 metres and three metres at 2.4g/t gold from 290 metres.

RPM-004 returned an average grade of 0.4g/t gold over 405 metres from surface within the RPM North mineralised zone.

These assays complement the recently reported results which included 153 metres at 8.8g/t gold from 68 metres, three metres at 97.8g/t gold from 169 metres, 98 metres at 12.6g/t gold from 95 metres.

Nova CEO Christopher Gerteisen was pleased with the results.

“These latest results at RPM North further confirm the discovery of another massive intrusive related gold system within the Estelle gold project. Nova now has two: Korbel and RPM, and we believe there are many more to come as we continue to unlock the district,” he said.

“The continuity and tenor of these drilling intersections at RPM are certainly world-class by any measure. We are now in a position to send all of the data to independent consultants to prepare our maiden inferred resource for RPM north.”

Drilling is continuing at the Korbel Main deposit ahead of the upcoming mineral resource update which will include a maiden resource for RPM.

Company shares were down 1.47 per cent to trade at 16.8 cents at 2:55 pm AEDT.
