Novita Healthcare’s breakthrough technology, Tali Train, has received CE Mark certification as a Class I Medical Device.
This CE Mark certification indicates that Tali Train meets all the essential requirements of all applicable European regulations as a medical device and allows for it to be sold in the European Economic Area.
Attention related issues such as ADHD affect roughly five per cent of school aged children across Europe.
The clinical agreement is that early intervention for attention related issues can potentially avoid billions of dollars in social and economic impacts of neurodevelopment disorders such as ADHD, autism and cerebral palsy.
So far the current intervention practice involves a complex and subjective process that is costly and time consuming.
Tali Train is the world’s first software which is designed to improve attention as a cognitive skill in early childhood. It can be used by educators, clinicians, and parents to strengthen the core attention of children who are aged between three and eight.
Through scientifically validated clinical trials it was proven that Tali Train improves attention by strengthening underlying attentional processes.
Improvements were retained after the treatment stopped which suggests that the benefits are long term.
Tali trains children’s abilities to maintain focus on a task, avoid distractions and fidgeting, improve learning at school, and prevent impulsive behaviour.
It can also be used as an alternative to psychostimulants and other behavioural training as a complementary program making it the ideal toolkit for any clinician or educator globally.
The software can be accessed via an off-the-shelf tablet or iPad and does not require any additional hardware or accessories making it ideal for in-clinic, in-classroom or home use.
“The achievement of CE Mark for Tali Train further reinforces the global applicability of the Tali platform technology,” Non-Executive Chair Sue MacLeman commented.
“Clinicians, educators and parents in Europe will now have access to a non-invasive, evidence-based treatment for the most commonly reported issue for inattention in children.”
Novita will now accelerate its marketing and sales strategies for Europe and the UK.
