PointsBet Holdings (PBH) has entered a multi-year partnership with Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) to become an exclusive gaming partner.
KSE is one of the world's leading ownership, entertainment and management groups.
PointsBet will be the exclusive gaming partner of the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association, Colorado Avalanche of the National Hockey League, Colorado Mammoth of the National Lacrosse League, and their home arena, Pepsi Center.
The agreement covers across the whole game category, including retail and online sports betting, daily fantasy, online casino and free-to-play games.
Under the partnership, PointsBet will also be named the official sports betting partner of KSE's Altitude TV and Altitude Sports Radio.
KSE Chief Operating Officer Matt Hutchings said PointsBet is renowned within the industry for its unique PointsBetting product and having the fastest app in the marketplace.
"Sports fans are hungry for the added dimension that fantasy sports and gaming add to their experience. We know that Nuggets, Avs, and Mammoth fans will be excited to have the opportunity to engage more deeply with their favourite teams via PointsBet," he said.
The partnership will also see PointsBet branded areas within the Pepsi Centre, this will include the PointsBet Sports Bar and PointsBet Premium Club.
For the 2020 and 2021 seasons, the Pepsi Centre's club level will rebrand and be called the PointsBet Club Level. On game days there will be plenty of visible branding and signage.
CEO of PointsBet USA, Johnny Aitken, said from day one the two businesses shared the same values.
"We’ve long stated that our goal is to become synonymous with Colorado sports betting, and this exclusive partnership with our hometown teams in the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth, plus premium entertainment spaces within their playing arena, is a momentous step in that process," he said.
“We have defined ourselves via our proprietary, in-house technology on delivering the fastest and easiest sports betting experience in the USA, and Denver sports fans in arena or at home watching games on the Altitude Sports Network will be provided many ways to elevate their viewing experience engaging with our market-leading PointsBet Sportsbook app," he added.
KSE mobile app
The partnership will also be supported with the release of a KSE mobile app, which is designed to improve the experience of planning and attending an event at the Pepsi Centre.
Upon the launch of the app, PointsBet will be the apps title sponsor and will be incorporated in the digital media branding, social posts and push notification.
Earlier this week, PoinstBet subsidiary, PointsBet USA, was appointed Official Sports Gaming Partner of Indiana Pacers.
On the market this afternoon, PointsBet is up 2.94 per cent and is trading for $6.30 per share at 1:53 pm AEST.
