RareX (REE) has reported further “outstanding” high-grade results from its Cummins Range Rare Earths Project in Western Australia.

The Cummins Range Project lies in the Kimberly Region of WA, near the township of Halls Creek.

Results have been received from a further seven holes drilled to target the primary zone of mineralisation at the project.

New results include 26 metres at 2.3 per cent total rare earth oxide (TREO) with 0.5 per cent neodymium and praseodymium and 0.3 per cent niobium pentoxide, including 2.8 metres at 6.6 per cent TREO with 1.2 per cent neodymium and praseodymium and 0.8 per cent niobium pentoxide.

Further, hole CDX0010 intersected up to 138 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver and the nature of the mineralisation is underway as this result was unexpected.

These new results continue to highlight the potential of the primary zone at Cummins Range and reinforce the opportunity to increase the mineral resource of 18.8 million tonnes at 1.15 per cent TREO and 0.14 per cent niobium pentoxide.

Additionally, the results have extended the mineralisation in the primary zone beyond 200 metres down dip.

“We are really excited to have picked up where we left off in 2021 with some further outstanding high-grade results which have further reinforced the potential of the primary zone at Cummins Range,” Managing Director Jeremy Robinson said.

“The results reported in this announcement have not only extended the mineralisation beyond 200 metres down-dip, they have also confirmed the presence of stacked mineralised zones — which bodes well for the potential to increase the tonnage as we drill the mineralisation down-dip and along strike.”

Results are pending for a further six holes which are expected to be received in the coming weeks.

Shares in RareX are steady and trading at 10.5 cents each as of 11:26 am AEDT.
