Riversgold (RGL) has appointed a highly experienced technical team from Quarterback Geological Consultants to drive exploration.

Simon Bolster, Peter Williams, and Dr Marat Abzalov have been appointed from Quarterback to help with Riversgold’s West and South Australian projects.

All three of these individuals have extensive experience working with mining companies with more than 40 years of experience between them.

“We are excited to sign up with Riversgold to assist the company in unlocking the exploration potential of its West Australian and South Australian projects,” Simon commented.

“It is not every day that you can join a company who holds more than 1100 square kilometres of tenements with all the right ingredients to host million-ounce gold systems,” he added.

Additionally, Riversgold has made a number of board changes to coincide with its transition to becoming an Australia focused gold explorer.

Newly hired Simon Bolster has been appointed as Non-Executive Director, effective June 23, Executive Director Justin Boylson has moved to a Non-Executive Director role effectively immediately, and Non-Executive Director Michael Davy has resigned from the board, effective immediately.

As a result of this appointment, Simon will receive six million Riversgold options over three phases, however, this is subject to shareholder approval.

“We are privileged to have access to such a well-credentialed technical team, and enumerating them on a success basis is a testament to the prospectivity of our project,” Technical Executive Director Xavier Braud said.

“The proven track record of the Quarterback team gives Riversgold the best chance of delivering a company-making discovery,” he added.

Riversgold is up a steady 14.8 per cent on the market and shares are trading for 6.2 cents each at 11:55 am AEST.
