Rumble Resources (RTR) has begun its major drilling program at the Western Queen Gold Project.

Western Queen lies 110 kilometres northwest of Mt Magnet within the Yalgoo mineral field in Western Australia.

It is made up of two neighbouring mining leases that cover a total area of 9.8 square kilometres.

This multi-rig program will consist of 12,000 metres of reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling to test a wide range of high-grade gold targets.

In particular, RC drilling will focus on gold shoot targets while diamond drilling will focus on possible resource extensions of the central deposit.

Drilling will be carried out over the Western Queen Central, Western Queen Central North, Western Princess, and Western Queen Central Oxide deposits and the Cranes prospect.

Western Queen Central

Previous drilling at Western Queen Central has confirmed the down-plunge continuity of a high-grade gold shoot.

Historical results include 6.3 metres at 36.09g/t gold from 305.7 metres, and six metres at 34.24g/t gold from 354 metres.

Western Queen Central North

Best results include seven metres at 60.6g/t gold from 70 metres, six metres at 37.34g/t gold from 50 metres, and 11 metres at 16.8g/t gold from 51 metres.

Rumble believes that there could be a potential repeat of the high-grade results.

Western Princess

Previous results such as three metres at 19.9g/t gold from eight metres, and five metres at 3.64g/t gold from 52 metres have been returned.

Historical drilling has indicated that a high possibility exists to define deep plunging shoots.

Western Queen Central Oxide

Significant results from this deposit include two metres at 40.37g/t gold from four metres, three metres at 10.42g/t gold from one metre, and five metres at 5.11g/t gold from 365.5 metres.

Cranes

At the Cranes prospect, a previous result of 14 metres at 4.87g/t gold has outlined the potential for Rumble to define a high-grade shoot.

Rumble is up an even 10 per cent on the market and shares are trading for 11 cents each at 2:12 pm AEST.
