Simble Solutions (SIS) has signed a three-year agreement with solar energy provider, Juice Capital.

Juice Capital builds, owns and operates solar photovoltaic systems across Australia and offers funding solutions, such as power purchase agreements (PPAs), to solar professionals, business owners, property developers and network operators.

The software-as-a-service (SaaS) and energy deal involves Juice Capital deploying the SimbleSense platform which is a total energy management solution.

SimbleSense will be deployed to Juice’s commercial and industrial, small-to-medium enterprises and residential customers.

“The agreement is a significant win for our business and marks our first major contract with a solar and renewable energy provider,” CEO Ronen Ghosh said.

Juice will roll out the solution to over 100 of its commercial and industrial PPA customers which will generate immediate revenue for Simble.

The company also expects to receive revenue from SimbleHome subscriptions from residential customers and for new commercial and industrial customers.

It also expects hardware revenues from selling third party internet-of-things devices for energy and solar metering purposes.

“The increasing requirement to understand the overlap between energy usage and solar generation capability is driving strong momentum for our business and we look forward to working with Juice Capital to help expand their customer reach and increase engagement on energy intelligence,” he concluded.

Simble Solutions ended the day trading in the grey at 3.3 cents.
