Siren Gold (SNG) has intersected up to 50.6 grams of gold per tonne (g/t) from the Alexander River Project in Reefton, New Zealand.

Diamond drilling began at the project in September 2020 with 41 holes completed and two in progress for 4831.5 metres.

Results have so far been received for 32 holes with a best of two metres at 26.8g/t gold from 30 metres including 0.9 metres at 50.6g/t gold.

Other results include 3.3 metres at 7g/t gold from 62.7 metres including 0.4 metres at 16.1g/t gold; and 4.4 metres at 1.5g/t gold from 12 metres.

This drilling followed on from Siren intersecting visible gold at Alexander Reef in early June.

Hole DDHAX045 intersected 0.9 metres of quartz reef within a 1.8 metre thick mineralised zone from 30.9 metres to 32.7 metres.

Hole AXHHH045also intersected a mineralised structure between 5.8 metres and 16.4 metres.

Siren will now begin drilling at the Golden Point Project in August following the grant of an Access Agreement from the Department of Conservation.

Shares in Siren were up 9.62 per cent and were trading at 28.5 cents at 11:58 am AEST.
