Siren Gold (SNG) has extended the mineralisation at its Auld Creek prospect in Reefton, New Zealand.
Trenching work at the southern end of the Fraternal shoot at the prospect intersected 8.3 metres at 2.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 0.45 per cent antimony. SNG said this has extended the strike of the shoot to 200 metres.
Another trench in the Bonanza shoot hit six metres at 4.9 g/t gold and 0.3 per cent antimony, extending the strike of the shoot to 125 metres.
Additionally, trenching extended the Bonanza West shoot after hitting 3.4 metres at 4.1 g/t gold and 0.3 per cent antimony.
Executive Chairman Brian Rodan said the company have confirmed high-grade gold and antimony exists along the mineralised trend between Siren’s Big River project and Auld Creek.
Siren has begun diamond drilling focused on depth and strike extensions of these mineralised systems.
The first drill hole will target the Fraternal shoot, 50 metres down plunge from a trench which intersected 8.4 metres at 19.7 g/t gold and 5.3 per cent antimony.
SNG shares were trading steady at 10 cents at 11:05 am AEST.
