Sky Metals (SKY) Chief Executive Officer Mark Arundell will step down from the company’s top job in late April.

Sky is focussed on exploring and developing mineral resources in Australia and has a portfolio spanning gold, copper and tin projects in NSW.

Following the move, Mark will continue his involvement with Sky as a technical consultant to the company.

In another management shift, Sky has promoted Senior Geologist Oliver Davies to the position of exploration manager.

Oliver has a background in New South Wales-focussed roles, including experience with Alkane Resources (ALK) and Evolution Mining (EVN).

He has been an integral part of Sky’s active exploration team since July 2019.

At this time, Sky is not looking to fill the vacant CEO position and is instead seeking additional assistance with operations from its non-executive directors.

Sky Metals shares are in the grey on Friday, last trading at 15.5 cents at 5:06 pm AEDT.
