TechGen Metals (TG1) has begun a versatile time domain electromagnetic (VTEM) survey at its Mt Boggola Project.
The Mt Boggola Project lies in the Ashburton Basin of Western Australia and is made up of two exploration licences which cover an area of 179 square kilometres.
The aim of this survey is to identify possible sulphide mineralisation at depth across the entire Mt Boggola Project area.
Previous work at Mt Boggola has identified areas of high-grade copper, silver, gold and copper mineralisation.
XRD analysis on a rock chip sample has returned up to 48.7 per cent copper and 119g/t silver.
This analysis indicated that in addition to copper oxide mineralisation, Mt Boggola also hosts copper sulphides.
The VTEM survey will consist of roughly 320-line kilometres of surveying with 200-metre spacings between the lines.
UTS Geophysics is undertaking the survey and once the results have been received they will be processed and modelled by Russell Mortimer at Southern Geoscience Consultants (SGC).
Work is expected to take between four to five days to complete and results will be released in due course.
TechGen is steady on the market and shares are trading at 22 cents at 12:49 pm AEST.
