Tempus Resources’ (TMR) Managing Director Brendan Borg has announced he’ll resign from his position after just over a year at the explorer’s helm.

TMR President Jason Bahnsen, who was appointed to the position in August 2020, will take over the Managing Director role.

Brendan has notified the board of his intent to resign, however, an official effective date is yet to be determined.

The move comes amid a flurry of managerial movements for the company, which onboarded two new directors and a new company President in August last year ahead of its debut on the Canadian TSX Venture Exchange in December.

Tempus Resources Chairman Alex Molyneux said the move “makes sense” as the company consolidates management and focuses on its operations in the Americas.

He said Brendan’s leadership had moved the company through a number of significant milestones.

“The initial listing on the ASX, acquisition of our flagship gold projects in Canada
and Ecuador, completion of various physical exploration programs and the listing on the TSX Venture Exchange,” he commented.

“I would very much like to thank Brendan as a co-founding director for his substantial contributions and to wish him well in his future endeavours.” the Chairman concluded.

Tempus shares are trading 26.5 cents during today’s session, up a solid 6 per cent at 12:16 pm AEDT.
