Tempus Resources (TMR) will focus its drill program at its Elizabeth gold project in British Columbia on expanding mineralisation, ahead of updating its resource estimate.

The program will consist of 30 holes for about 8500 metres and aims to build on success from the previous drill program.

It will target the expansion of Blue Vein as well as other vein targets including the Main Vein, West Vein and Ella Zone.

About 15 holes will target Blue Vein, which was identified last year and has had three holes with ‘bonanza’ grade intersections.

The West and Main Veins have 10 holes planned while the Ella Zone has three.

The company will complete two to five exploration holes to test for the discovery of additional vein sets north east of blue vein and in an unexplored zone between the South West Vein and West Vein.

Following the completion of the drill program, Tempus is aiming to update its resource estimate for the project.

President and Chief Executive Officer Jason Bahnsen said the main goal is to expand mineralisation.

“We have executed a contract with our drilling contractor, Full Force Drilling, and we plan to begin mobilisation to site in May with drilling targeted to begin early June,” he said.

Shares were trading 1.11 per cent higher today at 9.1 cents each at market close.
