Tempus Resources (TMR) is set to begin drilling at the Blackdome-Elizabeth Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada.

The project lies within the gold producing area of British Columbia and it is made up of two separate mineralisation styles, the Elizabeth zone and the Blackdome zone.

The Elizabeth zone is located 200 kilometres north of Vancouver and it has a historical inferred mineral resource estimate of 206,000 ounces of gold at 12.26g/t.

The Blackdome zone lies 30 kilometres north of Elizabeth and has an indicated resource of 52,600 ounces of gold at 11.29g/t, and an inferred resource of 25,000 ounces of gold at 8.79g/t.

This upcoming drilling program will be first undertaken at the project since 2011 and will begin at the Blackdome zone.

An initial 2500 metres of diamond drilling will be completed to expand and verify the existing mineral resource.

Tempus will also undertake trenching and drilling over gold-in-soil anomalies to the northeast.

Once work has finished at Blackdome, the equipment will move to the Elizabeth zone, where 6000 metres of diamond drilling will also aim to verify and expand the mineral resource.

Full Force Drilling has been appointed to undertake the drilling as they have previously worked at Blackdome-Elizabeth and are familiar with its workings.

Once Tempus has received final approval for its notice of work, which is expected in two to three weeks, Full Force will begin moving the equipment to the site.

Tempus is up a healthy 11.5 per cent and shares are trading for 29 cents each at 1:40 pm AEST.
