Tombola Gold (TBA) has received Environmental Authority from the Queensland Government for the commencement of construction and associated mining activities of the Mt Freda Gold Vat Leach and the Carbon-in-Column processing facility.

Construction of two 40,000 tonne re-usable Leach Vats is currently underway together with the Pregnant Liquor Solution and Barren Liquor Solution ponds.

The gold processing plant, consists of four two tonne gold recovery carbon columns and is located within the process facility bund wall.

It has been manufactured off-site and will be assembled on-site with only the cyanide and caustic soda handling and mixing circuit to be installed later this month.

It will operate at 150,000 litres of solution per hour via the four two tonne activated carbon columns. Initially, it will commence production at approximately 300,000 tonnes of gold mineral resources per year.

Forecast gold production is 57,300 ounces of gold over three years with a net margin of $63.7 million.

The company expects drilling to expand the life of the mine

Shares are trading 3.45 per cent higher today at 3 cents each at 12.01 pm AEDT.
