  • Discovering this area has provided Twenty Seven Co with a new high priority area for follow-up exploration
  • Follow-up exploration will begin with targeted auger drilling to define near-surface gold anomalisms and will be followed by reverse circulation drill testing

  • All of these conductors confirmed the presence of sulphides, and elevated levels of gold, silver and base metal mineralisation

Twenty Seven Co (TSC) has discovered a new prospect at its Rover Project in Western Australia.

Drill testing of a bedrock conductor intersected three metres at 1.75g/t gold from 113 metres at the newly named Mistletoe prospect.

Mistletoe is located 14 kilometres southeast of the Creasy 1 prospect and six kilometres southeast of Red Bush.

Discovering this new area of gold mineralisation has provided Twenty Seven Co with a new high priority area for follow-up exploration.

This follow-up drilling program will begin with targeted auger drilling to define near-surface gold anomalism. This will then be followed by reverse circulation (RC) drill testing.

Twenty Seven Co has also announced results for the remaining four MLTEM (moving-loop electromagnetic) conductors.

Two of these conductors, RSC09 and RXC10, intersected sulphides with elevated zinc, silver, and gold, while conductor RXC13 confirmed the presence of sulphides with elevated zinc and silver readings.

The final conductor, RXC12, intersected three metres at 1.75g/t gold and helped discover the new prospect at Rover.

“Twenty Seven Co’s exploration model is working well as all eight conductors intersected significant sulphides linked with strongly anomalous gold and base metals along the Maynard Hills greenstone belt,” CEO Ian Warland said.

“Discovering an ore grade gold intercept at the Mistletoe prospect is highly encouraging as it opens up a new gold front southeast along strike from Creasy 1 where these is a large mineralised system,” he added.

Twenty Seven Co will now focus on extending the mineralisation around the Creasy 1 and Harmonic prospects where large gold systems have previously been discovered.

Company shares are up 8.33 per cent and are trading for 0.7 cents each at 12:55 pm AEST.
