  • Viva Leisure has acquired the Fitness 24/7 businesses in two regional locations in NSW and Victoria – marks its first location in Victoria
  • The company now own and operate 36 locations and expect to reach over 40 by the end of FY2019
  • All acquired clubs will be rebranded to Club Lime – its primary health club brand

Australian-based health club, Viva Leisure has successfully purchased the Fitness 24/7 businesses in Albury, New South Wales and Wodonga, Victoria, for $3.75 million.

The company has recently become the first health club group to be listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and has proven its drive to continue its success.

The acquisition includes three health clubs in the region which expands Viva Leisure’s footprint into regional Australia as well as establishing its first location in Victoria.

“The completion of these acquisition[s] means that Viva Leisure now owns and operates 36 locations across the Australian Capital Territory, regional NSW and regional Victoria,” Viva Leisure Managing Director and CEO, Harry Konstantinou said.

Viva Leisure has celebrated many achievements in 2019 including being the fastest-growing fitness club franchise. The company offers its customers different membership options and a range of facilities including big box fitness facilities, day spa facilities, boutique fitness facilities and aquatic facilities.

The company now owns and operate 36 locations across the ACT, regional NSW and regional Victoria.

“With a further four locations opening shortly, we are on track to have 40 locations in operation by the end of the financial year,” Harry said.

All clubs acquired will be rebranded to Club Lime – Viva Leisure’s primary health club brand. The company will immediately begin converting its clubs including the installation of member and staff management systems, online joining portal, self-service portal for members, and fully automated front-end and back-end systems.

Viva Leisure is fast-tracking to operating or, at least, committing to 50 locations by the end of 2019.
