8Common Limited and TRAVLR have announced its strategic alliance to launch employee travel benefit platform Benefits8.

The platform will address the growing Bleisure, business & leisure, travel sector while delivering end-to-end leisure travel and leveraging customer relationships.

This design came after a survey completed by Hilton found that nearly 70 per cent of workers want to extend their business trip into one of leisure.

The Expense8 Corporate Travel module offers a pre-trip approval function which allows employees to easily plan and book business related travel. It also offers a secure and easy to use approval process which can be used by both employees and their bosses.

Expense8 provides real time automated data which collects all current deals and offers which will result in a more accurately priced trip.

8Common has a focus on delivering financial technology with major partners in Woolworths, Broadcast Australia and State and Federal government bodies.

Besides its Expense8 platform, Common8 also has Perform8 which offers online surveying to assist in drive action and team improvement. Realtors8 provides a simple suite to help real estate agents correctly market their websites.

TRAVLR is a technology-based platform which hosts a number of travel recommendation from previous travellers and allows users to research, plan and book their trip all within one site.

Executive Chairman of 8Common Nic Lim is excited to see where this partnership will go.

“Benefits8 customers will have access to an enhanced travel booking experience through TRAVLR featuring an industry leading network of flights, hotels & resorts, Agoda home inventory, cruising, as well as more than 200,000+ experiences and activities from across the globe,” he said.
