- PointsBet and BetMakers has dually launched an international racing channel
- Up to 2000 races will be streamed each week
- PointBets’ shares are up 0.96 per cent, currently sitting at $3.17 apiece
- Shares in BetMakers are up 15.49 per cent to sit at $0.082 each
ASX-listed companies PointsBet and BetMakers have dually launched an international racing channel.
Up to 2000 live races will be streamed each week on the channel from the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Mexico and Canada.
Races can be viewed from the PointsBet website and also through its app.
BetMakers is supplying its racing channel to PointsBet which includes customised pricing technology, data display overlays and live vision.
PointsBet CEO Sam Swanell expressed his excitement that the racing channel is now reaching Australian audiences and that the company is in partnership with BetMakers.
“BetMakers are our preferred racing supplier and they have proven over many years they are leaders in innovative wagering technology for the global racing industry,” he said.
CEO of BetMakers Technology Group Todd Buckingham said he is impressed with how quick PointBet’s tech team got the channel up and running.
“They have built in the customised solution very quickly which is testament to their tech team and how quickly they can get a product to market,” he commented.
Both companies have seen its share price rise today, following the launch of the racing channel.
PointBets’ shares are up 0.96 per cent, currently sitting at $3.17 apiece while shares in BetMakers are up 15.49 per cent to sit at $0.082 each at midday trade.
