Aeris Environmental (AEI) has announced its Aeris Active surface disinfectant has been approved for sale in the UK.

The ‘dual active’ disinfectant provides broad-spectrum protection against viruses, fungi and bacteria – both in the initial kill phase, and over 7 days or 200 touches.

The Singapore National Environment Agency has listed Aeris Active on its Interim List of General Disinfectants effective for the COVID-19 Virus.

Aeris CEO Peter Bush says the company is pleased to announce “the expansion of its breakthrough product Aeris Active into the UK, as part of the growth of [its] global distribution footprint of approved countries for Aeris’ proprietary environmental hygiene portfolio.

“The key features of Aeris’ rapid, broad spectrum kill, environmental profile and, most importantly, the unique validation of our “multi-touch” residual protection is driving rapidly increasing demand from many key international markets.”

The U.K. is a major international trading power, with the fifth-largest economy in the world – and a ready market for Aeris’ products.

“Aeris expects to be launching several additional human and environmental hygiene products into both the domestic and international markets during the next quarter. It is anticipated that these sales will be material,” Mr Bush added.

Aeris Environmental shares are up 5.47 percent to 67.5 cents each as at 12:11 pm AEDT
