Ardiden (ADV) has intersected further high-grade gold mineralisation at its Esker and Tonsil prospects in northwestern Ontario, Canada.

The company drilled 19 diamond holes for 2680 metres at Tonsil on targets generated from historical drilling and the current geological model.

Results include 0.77 metres at 25.5 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 71.23 metres, 1.85 metres at 1.92 g/t gold from 25.15 metres, and one metre at 1.68 g/t gold from 92.5 metres.

At Esker, Ardiden completed 18 diamond holes for 2206 metres which returned results of 0.7 metres at 8.46 g/t gold from 142.3 metres and 0.59 metres at 5.21g/t gold from 86.55 metres.

These new results, along with those previously reported, confirm high-grade mineralisation that is open along strike and at depth.

Exploration Manager Haydn Daxter said the final drill results “quantified” Ardiden’s targeting strategy in a minimally explored region.

“The recent drilling program has highlighted the potential of three separate mineralisation events comprising of narrow width high-grade gold intercepts, medium width with moderate grade gold intercepts, and wide lower grade intercepts of up to 38 meters in width.”

Ardiden was down 7.14 per cent to trade at 0.7 cents at 12:50 pm AEDT.
