Artemis Resources (ARV) has received new assay results from a recently completed drilling program at the Carlow Castle Copper-Gold Project.

Carlow Castle lies roughly 45 kilometres east of Karratha in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Both reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling was undertaken with aims to test potential strike extensions to the current inferred mineral resource estimate.

Best results include 53 metres at 2.98g/t gold, 0.85 per cent copper and 0.25 per cent cobalt from 120 metres, including two metres at 17.93g/t gold and 2.36 per cent copper from 147 metres.

Artemis is now waiting on further results which are expected to be available in the coming weeks.

“These outstanding results from the latest batch of assays from Carlow Castle further underlines our belief in the potential for this project to be a regionally significant gold-copper-cobalt resource,” Executive Director Alastair Clayton said.

“Step out drilling to grow the resource to the south has hit impressive grades over some very large widths and infill diamond grade and structural drilling to support future resource upgrades just highlights the impressive characteristics of the gold, copper and cobalt mineralisation at Carlow Castle,” he added.

Drilling has paused for the Christmas break but will resume on or around January 6.

Artemis is up a healthy 17.3 per cent and shares are trading at 15.3 cents at 10:34 am AEDT.
