Battery Minerals’ (BAT) maiden diamond drilling program has revealed the presence of intrusion-related gold mineralisation within the White Rabbit District on the Stawell Gold Corridor of Victoria.
The drilling defined zones of sheeted quartz-sulphide veins and disseminated sulphides, hosted within the White Rabbit Intrusive Complex, which the company reported had features consistent with an intrusion-related gold system.
The discovery gained further significance when considering the presence of the Wonga IRG Deposit, located 12 kilometres northeast and at the southern end of the six million ounce Stawell Gold Field.
The company expects to receive aircore drilling results in mid-June and diamond drilling results in late-June.
Additionally, ongoing IP geophysical results will continue to be reported throughout June-early July 2023.
Battery Minerals reported it will continue to provide updates on the progress and findings at the Coxs Find, Frankfurt, and Cosmopolitan Prospects.
BAT was trading at 0.3 cents at market close.
