BetMakers Technology’s subsidiary, BetMakers DNA, has formed a new commercial partnership with Racing Victoria.

Racing Victoria is a leading Principal Racing Authority in Australia and together, the companies will develop and commercialise a racing integrity platform to help manage Racing Victoria integrity requirements.

This platform is known as the Racing Victoria Integrity Platform (RVIP). It’s a custom-built technology solution which will be implemented across the Racing Victoria racing program.

“In working with Racing Victoria on delivery of this new integrity platform over the past 12 months we are now excited for RVL to launch it into the market as a first-of-its-kind solution for racing authorities anywhere in the world,” BetMakers Chief Technology Officer Karl Begg said.

The RVIP manages a range of data points, identifies and flags irregularities and maintains data in easy-to-use formats for stewards and authorities.

Racing Victoria highly values a responsible culture of fair play, ethical behaviours and respect within its community.

Racing Victoria’s Executive General Manager of Integrity Services, Jamie Stier believes integrity is vital and is pleased to introduce the RVIP platform.

“The introduction of this bespoke platform is an important technological development that will not only benefit our integrity staff to better manage the unique challenges they face, but is a long term investment to ultimately support the wider industry,” Jamie said.

As part of the partnership, BetMakers has been granted an exclusive licence to distribute and commercialise the platform technology as a solution to racing authorities domestically and internationally.

“The exciting part of this deal for BetMakers is the exclusive license to commercialise this product domestically and internationally,” BetMakers CEO Todd Buckingham said.

“We see this as a must-have solution for any racing body who wants to provide its Integrity unit with the best available tools to ensure its racing is of a high quality from an integrity point of view,” Todd concluded.
