Breaker Resources (BRB) has seen further potential for the Manna lithium prospect as a significant lithium discovery.

Manna is located within the Lake Roe Project area, near Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.

The company has received assays from the latest round of reverse circulation drilling, which covered 1875 metres.

These results indicate a significant emerging discovery and confirm the continuity of mineralisation.

Results include 17 metres at 1.54 per cent lithium oxide from 38 metres and 9 metres at 1.94 per cent lithium oxide from 219 metres.

“It’s a bit ironic that we have discovered a cluster of pegmatite intrusions with outcropping spodumene and other significant lithium-related anomalies while trying not to distract ourselves from a major gold discovery at Bombora, our core focus,” Managing Director Tom Sanders said.

“The spodumene discovery at Manna 2 shows the auger soil geochemistry is working, opening up the potential of other areas with a similar Li-Rb-Sn soil signature, some of which trend into areas of mapped lithium-bearing outcrop.”

Planning is currently underway for the next round of drilling.

Shares in Breaker Resources are down 11.84 per cent to $0.34 as of 12:22 pm AEDT.
