  • CCP’s new monitoring solution has been successfully developed
  • Monitors the temperature of biological assets down to negative 80 degrees

Development and solutions company CCP Technologies has announced the successful development of its new monitoring solution application.

This solution can accurately monitor temperatures of biological assets down to negative 80 degrees with the potential to reach lower temperatures with further development.

The technology relies on continuous third-party monitoring and data analytics to provide food industry clients with solutions to reduce product wastage and energy costs, improved product quality, asset management and streamline compliance.

Sensors and smart tags are placed in temperature controlled environments, such as fridges, cool rooms and display cabinets, to track and record information and ensure compliance with health and food safety regulations.

If the temperature is breached the tags communicate directly with the CCP application to trigger an alert to the owner. This alert not only provides an opportunity to begin fixing the problem immediately but it could also potentially save thousands of dollars worth of food.

This technology is currently being adapted for the health sector where the smart tags are being used to monitor vaccine and temperature sensitive storage environments.

CCP has also supplied well known American clients such as MGM Grand, Bellagio Las Vegas and The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas with its White Tiger Natural Solutions.

White Tiger disrupts traditional humidity controlled solutions to maximise energy saving, equipment life, product shelf life and profitability.

CCP has been progressively rolling out its monitoring solutions at Monash University and the application represents a far reaching market opportunity.
