Chase Mining (CML) has intersected further massive sulphides at its Alotta Copper-Palladium-Platinum-Nickel Project in Canada.

The final hole of the program, ZA-20-05, was drilled to test the strike extension above previous hole ZA-19-05, and an extension of hole ZA-20-04 that was announced yesterday.

While this hole is yet to be logged, photographed and sampled in detail, visual analysis has confirmed three zones of mineralisation.

This analysis has confirmed dispersed sulphide from 76.5 metres to 78 metres downhole, and fine-grained massive pyrrhotite (iron sulphide mineral) from 81.85 metres to 86.7 metres.

A 4.5-metre sulphide zone with 0.2 metres of chalcopyrite (a copper iron sulphide mineral) from 57.8 metres was also identified.

The drill rig will now move to the Lorraine Mine Gold Project to confirm previously reported high-grade results at the base of the mine.

Chase has slumped 20 per cent and shares are trading for 2.8 cents each at 12:38 pm AEST.
