Critical Resources (CRR) has received results from two more holes drilled at the Gibsons prospect.

Gibsons can be found within the company’s wholly-owned Halls Peak project in the New England Fold Belt of New South Wales.

The newest results come from hole 04 and hole 02, which are both step-out holes that have intersected further zinc, lead, copper, and silver-bearing zones of sulphide mineralisation.

Hole 04 returned an intercept of 5.6 metres at 8.2 per cent zinc, 4.33 per cent lead, 1.81 per cent copper and 393.23 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from 75.1 to 80.7 metres downhole.

This included a higher-grade zone of 1.65 metres at 14.79 per cent zinc, 7.61 per cent lead, 3.17 per cent copper and 807.55 g/t silver.

Hole 02 hit a 17.75-metre zone grading 2.2 per cent zinc, 1.28 per cent lead, 0.18 per cent copper and 19.34 g/t silver from 87.8 to 105.55 metres downhole including 1.4 metres at 10.4 per cent zinc, 7.53 per cent lead, 0.48 per cent copper and 33.8 g/t silver.

Managing Director Alex Biggs said the company was continuing to see some “fantastic” intersections at the Gibsons prospect which demonstrated the potential scale of the Halls Peak project.

“The asset is shaping up as potentially transformational for the company and we look forward to updating the market with more exciting results,” Mr Biggs said.

Critical Resources is continuing drilling across multiple targets within the Halls Peak project.

Company shares were up 1.33 per cent to trade to 7.6 cents at 11:25 am AEST.
